The Clothes Closet provides emergency assistance to all residents of Clay County when needs cannot be met through existing agencies in their own communities. Services include food, clothing, household goods, baby items, and furniture. Limited financial assistance is available to help with medical and other special needs and overdue rent or utility payments. **Click here for address info**
REFERRALSReferrals are required by the Clothes Closet to receive assistance. Referrals may be obtained from churches, social service agencies and schools. A picture ID with address must also be shown.
Eligible clients may receive food once in a two-month period, clothing (3 of each item) once every four months, and financial assistance once a year.
